Shopping made even easier at The Centre with launch of Gift Cards

The convenient, easy-to-use gift cards can be accepted in the majority of the 155 stores and restaurants within The Centre and has been designed to operate similarly to a pre-paid debit card which can be loaded with any denomination up to £1,000.

 

Jennifer Bruce, marketing manager for The Centre, who was instrumental in launching this scheme to the shoppers of Livingston, said: “We are delighted with our brand new gift card scheme which offers our visitors a great new way to shop. Since its launch, we have received welcoming feedback by both retailers and shoppers alike.

 

“With Christmas just around the corner, our brand new gift card solves many gift-giving dilemmas providing friends and family with the freedom to pick from a diverse range of stores within The Centre without restricting them to one store or product type.

 

“The Centre is experiencing some of the highest levels of footfall it in its history thanks to the launch of Elements Square in October. Following this success and with the enhanced shopping experience, it seemed the perfect time to launch such a valuable product to our shoppers.”

 

Acceptability and ease of use are some of the most obvious benefits The Centre gift cards provide. Once issued, the card can be used like any other Maestro payment card until the funds are completely depleted.

 

The Centre has become one of the biggest shopping centres in Scotland since its £130m extension - Elements Square. New stores include Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Republic, River Island and Swarovski to name but a few.

 

Perfectly located in the heart of the Central Belt, The Centre is only a 15 minute drive from Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Glasgow with thousands of car parking spaces.

 

With only three weeks until Christmas, trading hours in the majority of stores have been extended to 9am-9pm Mon-Fri. Weekend hours throughout December will remain at 9am -6pm on Saturdays and 10am – 6pm on Sundays.
